Police say accused of killing a windshield washer flew to Colombia

Santo Domingo.- The man accused of fatally shooting in the head a windshield washer in a busy intersection in the capital’s Bella Vista sector fled to Colombia on Monday, the National Police affirmed Thursday.

Jhonnattan Onel Báez Guzmán, 25, left the country at 4pm aboard Avianca airline flight, confirmed by the National Immigration Agency. Dominicans don’t need visa to enter Colombia.

It said Police chief Manuel Castro notified Interpol to establish Baez’s whereabouts.
