Santo Domingo.- A photographic exhibition chronicling the pivotal April 1965 Revolution opened on Tuesday as part of the international colloquium marking its 60th anniversary. Curated by Nicole Méndez, Isabel Mendoza, and Ramón Aceña Rincón, the exhibit traces key moments of the civic–military uprising that reshaped Dominican democracy. The ribbon-cutting was performed by FUNGLODE president Leonel Fernández.
Co-hosted by the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (FUNGLODE) under Fernández’s leadership and France’s Maison de l’Amérique Latine, the exhibition also receives academic support from leading French and Spanish institutions.
But, of course, there is no mention of where the exhibition is taking place.
It is taking place in the left wing of the lobby at the Pedro Mir Library at USAD, Santo Domingo.
