Vaguada (moisture trough) will cause scattered downpours

A trough will cause scattered to moderate downpours, thunderstorms and possible wind gusts in Elías Piña, Pedernales, Azua, Barahona, Peravia, San Cristóbal, Dajabón, Santiago Rodríguez, Santiago, Valverde, Montecristi, Puerto Plata, Duarte, María Trinidad Sánchez, Samaná, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, Santo Domingo and the National District.

The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) predicted that the rains would begin in the morning and will last until the afternoon.

The agency predicts that the rest of the country will be dominated by a sky with scattered grayish clouds due to the presence of Sahara dust.

Temperatures will be hot, with a minimum of 21 °C and 23 °C and a maximum of 32 °C and 34 °C.
