Dominican fugitive on U.S. most wanted list captured in La Altagracia
Santo Domingo.- Luis Francisco Soriano, a Dominican national listed among the United States’ ten most wanted fugitives, was captured in La Altagracia, Dominican Republic, the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) announced Wednesday. Soriano, also known as Yefri or Yeyo, is wanted for four counts of murder and drug trafficking in New York City.
The arrest took place near Arena Gorda beach on the El Macao highway, in an operation coordinated by DNCD agents, the Public Ministry, and U.S. Marshals. Soriano, 32, faces extradition and is accused of a quadruple homicide on August 31, 2024, near Rochester, New York, which included two child victims aged 2 and 4.
He is charged with multiple serious offenses including first- and second-degree murder, burglary, kidnapping, and arson. Due to the severity of his crimes and his ability to evade capture, the U.S. Marshals placed him on their Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

The party’s over for Yefri.
