Cabarete Municipal District, Puerto Plata – Authorities arrested Canadian citizen Justin James during a raid last Saturday at his residence located in the Costa Azul residential area of ​​Cabarete.

In the operation, carried out by members of law enforcement, several allegedly illegal firearms were seized, as well as substances believed to be controlled substances.

Justin James, a longtime resident of the area, owns several businesses, including Coconut Car Rentals and the Paradise Hotel, both of which are located in the neighborhood above.

According to information obtained by the media outlet Info El Nuevo Norte, the Canadian citizen had previously been linked to conflicts with other residents of the area and was described by some as an aggressive and combative person who used threats as a method of intimidation.

Authorities reported that the investigation is ongoing, while the Public Ministry will evaluate the legal measures to be taken against him.

The Cabarete community remains vigilant about the outcome of this case, demanding that the safety and peace of all residents be guaranteed.
