Gildan Glow Run raises RD$1.7M for Rehabilitation Association
San Pedro de Macoris.- Forthe second consecutive year the Canadian manufacturing company, Gildan, hostedthe Gildan Glow Run run/walk to raise funds for the Dominican RehabilitationAssociation with a donation of RD$1.7 million to build the Regional Center inSan Pedro de Macoris.

The Association´s SanPedro de Macoris subsidiary receives more than 16,000 patients annually,offering physical and occupational therapy and special education as well asmore than 40 children with physical and mental challenges from the towns ofJuan Dolio, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, La Romana and San Pedro de Macoris, who willbenefit once the center starts operating.
