Dominican artist Mario Dávalos to exhibit in Warsaw

Santo Domingo.- Renowned Dominican artist Mario Dávalos, known for his explorations of nature, identity, and civilization through painting and photography, will participate in events in Warsaw, Poland, this September.

Dávalos will showcase a selection of his paintings at the Hotel Warszawa art fair from September 5 to 7, organized by Heliconia Projects. His works, blending figuration and abstraction, explore tensions between the wild and the artificial, and civilization versus natural simulations.

In addition, he will give a talk at Skanska’s exclusive art club, sharing insights into his creative process, the concept of poiesis in his practice, and how his expeditions to remote locations influence his work. These events highlight Dávalos’s international recognition and his interdisciplinary approach, combining painting, photography, and strategic consulting to engage culture and contemporary issues from multiple perspectives.
