A 4.1 magnitude quake rattles North Coast

Santo Domingo.- Santo Domingo State University’s (UASD) Seismology Institute reported a 4.1 magnitude quake felt in Puerto Plata at 6:33pm Sunday.

It said the tremor was centered southwest of the community La Isabela, 96 kilometers in depth.

The quake was at 19.8 north latitude and 71.1 west longitude, with no aftershocks reported as of last night.
