Agents find homemade guns in campus where Police Colonel was killed
Santo Domingo.- Inside the offices of the Dominican Students Federation (FED), investigators said they found a homemade shotgun, a pistol, 12 gauge shells, a wig and a ski mask with the letters FALPO (Broad Front for Popular Struggle), just two days after Police Col. Julian Suarez was gunned down during a protest at the Santo Domingo State University UASD.
Justice Ministry and police investigators seized the “Chilean” type weapons in the presence of FED vice president Willy Perez, as well as reporters.
The agents resorted to bolt cutters to force open the office door, after which Perez told reporters that the FED doesn’t own the guns found and had nothing to do with the murder. "I don’t know what a Chilean is, I have never laid a hand on one."
