Intensive search launched by Dominican Navy for missing individuals at sea

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic Navy has initiated an extensive search and rescue mission following alerts regarding individuals potentially missing at sea since February 25th.

The operation was initiated based on a recent complaint lodged by concerned relatives who expressed uncertainty about the whereabouts of their loved ones.

In a collaborative endeavor, the Navy has deployed maritime, aerial, and terrestrial resources in a synchronized effort to locate the missing individuals, believed to be involved in an attempt to exit the country unlawfully. The search operation encompasses coastal and maritime regions in the north and northwest of the country.
