Abinader leads follow-up meeting on Citizen Security Plan
Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader is currently presiding over a follow-up meeting on the Citizen Security Plan, aimed at ensuring the well-being of Dominicans across the country. The meeting commenced at 11:30 a.m. in the Officers’ Club Room of the National Police Palace. It focuses on evaluating assigned tasks, reviewing achievements, and discussing measures to further strengthen security nationwide.
Accompanying the head of state are several key officials, including Defense Minister Lieutenant General Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa, Presidency Minister Joel Santos, and Interior and Police Minister Jesús Vásquez Martínez. Also in attendance are Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta, Director of the National Police, Major General Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre, General Commander of the Army, and Vice Admiral Agustín Alberto Morillo Rodríguez, General Commander of the Dominican Republic Navy.
Additionally, Vice Admiral José Manuel Cabrera Ulloa, President of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), and General Francisco Osoria de la Cruz, Head of the General Directorate of Traffic and Land Transportation Security (Digesett), are participating. Other officials present include General Juan Hilario Guzmán Badía, Deputy Director of the National Police, and Colonel Martín Miguel Tapia Sánchez, Director of the School Police.
Local government representatives Dio Astacio, the elected mayor of Santo Domingo Este, and Alex Díaz, the mayor of San Francisco de Macorís, are also present.
Furthermore, Deputy Prosecutor Yeni Berenice Reynoso and a commission of prosecutors, consisting of prosecutors from various provinces, are participating in the meeting. They include Rosalba Ramos (National District), Osvaldo Bonilla (Santiago), Fadulia Rosa (San Cristóbal), Aura Luz García (La Vega), Juan Antonio Mateo Ciprián (María Trinidad Sánchez), Claudia Garrido (La Altagracia), Suleika Mateo (San Pedro de Macorís), Smaily Yamel Rodríguez (Duarte), Yeisin Alcántara (Dajabón), Yorelbin Rivas (Espaillat), Kevin Santana (La Romana), and Eduard López (Santo Domingo Oeste).
Moreover, titular prosecutors from several provinces are also attending, including Milciades Guzmán (Santo Domingo Este), Wellington Matos Espinal (Barahona), Ángel Darío Tejeda Fabal (Peravia), Víctor Mejía (Valverde), Zoila Agustina Rodríguez Ynfante (Mirabal Sisters), Kelmi Dúncan (Puerto Plata), Joel López (Monsignor Nouel), and Adolfo Augusto Feliz Pérez (San Juan).
Still TALKING ABOUT IT 4 years Later. The citizen can not even make a report without a lot of red tape.
There is no even basic crime statistics per town to see where all the crime is happening.
It’s the same nonsense. Abinader Fernandez Medina and hipolito. This four presidents have done nothing but make things worse. They get rich and bounce. Eventually the country will go bankrupt and it will be overrun by Haitians. Good luck Dr.
