Young man who confessed to killing teenage girl found on land in El Seibo arrested

Santiago de los Caballeros – Investigating agents of the National Police, together with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, captured the confessed perpetrator of the death of the teenager Yosberlin Rachel Ramirez Santana, 17 years old, who was reported missing by her relatives in La Romana province, and whose body was found in a vacant lot in El Seibo province.

Brayan Michael Joseph Guerrero (a) Daniel, 23 years old, was arrested under arrest warrant No. 0387-2024, in Santiago de los Caballeros, where he fled to after committing the crime. A search warrant, No. 197-12924-0ALL01122, was executed at Brayan Michel’s residence in the Villa España sector of La Romana province. During the search, evidence was seized that implicated him in the crime.

According to the preliminary report, the mother of the missing minor identified Brayan Michel as the primary suspect in her daughter’s disappearance. He was last seen with her on 07/08/2024 in La Romana. Subsequently, agents from the Eastern Regional Sub-Directorate of Investigation (DICRIM), working with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, apprehended the suspect in Santiago and transferred him to his residence in La Romana, where a search was conducted.

Later, the authorities, accompanied by a team from the K-9 Canine Unit, went to his residence in La Romana and conducted a search.
