U.S. Embassy issues security alert over Friday protest in Santo Domingo
Santo Domingo.- The U.S. Embassy in the Dominican Republic has issued a security alert ahead of a planned demonstration in Santo Domingo this Friday, May 23, at 1:00 p.m. The protest is set to begin at the metro station near the intersection of Abraham Lincoln and Correa y Cidrón avenues and proceed toward the National Congress.
While the event is expected to be peaceful, the embassy cautioned that situations can escalate unexpectedly and advised U.S. citizens to avoid the protest area, stay updated, and use alternate routes if necessary. The embassy emphasized avoiding crowds, staying alert, and exercising heightened caution.

Thanks, Antigua Orden Dominicana.
I doubt very much there is any violence against gringo’s…the organization’s real beef is against the illegal Haitian immigration…
