Young man dies after jumping from Ágora Mall parking tower

Santo Domingo.- A 21-year-old man died after jumping from the sixth floor of the Ágora Mall parking tower. According to the General Directorate of Customs (DGA), the young man had no employment connection to either the shopping center or the institution where his body landed. He reportedly left his belongings at the scene before the incident, which were secured by mall security.

Both Ágora Mall and the DGA cooperated with emergency services and the National Police, ensuring a respectful handling of the situation. In a public statement, Ágora Mall expressed deep regret over the incident and extended condolences to the young man’s family, urging the public to respect the privacy of those affected.
