Meliá Hotels to open new hospitality school in Punta Cana

Punta Cana.-Meliá Hotels International hosted a meeting with leading representatives of the Dominican tourism industry — including wholesalers, travel agencies, and tour operators — to reinforce strategic partnerships and present the company’s latest developments in Punta Cana.

During the event, the Spanish hotel group highlighted two key milestones: the upcoming Gabriel Escarrer Juliá Hospitality School, designed to boost talent and professional training in the local tourism sector, and the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center, which further positions Punta Cana as a hub for sports and wellness tourism.

Meliá also introduced its new commercial leadership team for the Dominican Republic and announced the opening of Fun Republic, an innovative entertainment space offering activities for all ages within its all-inclusive concept.
