Punta Cana Carnival to celebrate 16th Edition on last Saturday of February

Punta Cana, La Altagracia.- Grupo Puntacana has announced the 16th edition of the Punta Cana Carnival, set for Saturday, February 22, 2025, on the 1st of November Boulevard at The Village Puntacana. The event will begin at 2:30 p.m., with the grand parade starting at 3:30 p.m., featuring over 20 comparsas and 1,500 carnival-goers celebrating Dominican culture and folklore. With more than 15,000 attendees expected, highlights include the crowning of King or Queen Momo, a distinction awarded to influential figures who inspire Dominican society.
For the first time, the carnival will feature a Craft Bazaar offering event-themed items, running from Friday, February 21, at 6:00 p.m., to Saturday morning. Additional attractions include a children’s area, food trucks, and the Cueva de los Tres Caras, offering gastronomy and community experiences.
