Frank Rainieri announces Los Manantiales overpass to open within weeks

Bavaro.- Frank Rainieri, founder of the Puntacana Group, announced that the Los Manantiales Crossing overpass will be inaugurated within the next three to four weeks. While he did not disclose the total investment, Rainieri emphasized that the project has been executed in record time, underscoring his company’s commitment to delivering rapid and effective solutions for local communities.

He explained that the initiative is being developed through a public-private partnership, designed to improve mobility and connectivity for surrounding communities and enhance access to the eastern region’s main destinations.

Rainieri shared the update during the International Conference on Tourism Cooperation, organized in the Dominican Republic by UN Tourism in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism (Mitur).

Sad to think that a “private” enterprise has to do what the government is supposed to do. Thank you Frank for your commitment to our community. We have been forgotten by the government, unless it is a resort ribbon cutting.

The same should be done at crossroads: Cabeza de Toro, Coco Loco, Cepm, El Ejecutivo, and Friusa at minimum. However, the tourist zone brings in $millions the government is reluctant to spend for public safety.
