Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Society of Cardiology emphasized that cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of death due to unhealthy lifestyles. Its president, Dr. Rosa Cueto, warned that many Dominicans continue to consume excessive fats, sugars, and processed foods, increasing their risk of heart-related illnesses.
