Poll: Obama has 78.1% of Dominican-origin votes
NEW YORK.- According to a Newlink poll 78.1% of U.S. citizens of Dominican origin in that country will vote for the incumbent Barack Obama on Nov. 6.
The U.S. president, who is seeking reelection, has 69.4% of the intention of Latino vote, compared with 28.5% for Republican challenger Mitt Romney.
Pollster representative Mauricio De Vengoechea, who disclosed the study, said the survey conducted 1,002 surveys with 24, 972 automatic phone calls from October 23 to 24, in 49 of the 50 states, excluding Hawaii.
The survey also found that 77.5% of naturalized Mexicans and 51.7% of Cubans, whereas 69.9% of the Puerto Ricans would vote for the Democratic Party candidate over Romney.
