Former president Leonel Fernandez receives birthday wishes

Santo Domingo– Amid congratulations on his 60th birthday, former president Leonel Fernandez said yesterday the door is open to the possibility of aiming for the fourth time to the presidential elections.

Fernandez said he will always keep working for the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) to retain power and continue its historical cycle .

"I always allow time to decide. I will always be careful to know which way the wind blows," he told reporters at the headquarters of the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (Funglode), where he was congratulated by political leaders, businessmen and legislators, and received a birthday present and a phone call from presiden Medina.
