Trough brings downpours mostly along Caribbean coast

Santo Domingo.- A trough will bring downpours over several parts of the country today, the National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecast Thursday.

It said Greater Santo Domingo and other cities along the entire Caribbean coast can expect scattered showers starting early Thursday and will expand gradually to the South region.

Onamet said the trough and a frontal system will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms over the national territory Friday, especially the Northwest, North, Northeast and central regions.
