Medina ‘always open to public scrutiny’ but not his senior officials
Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina on Wednesday saidthe government "has always been open to public scrutiny," just hoursafter Accounts Chamber president Licelot Marte reiterated that many of hissenior officials have yet to file their financial statement, despite their nearlyfour years in office.
In a meeting with members of the Dominican Newspapers Society(SDD), Medina said he cannot interfere in the affairs of other branches ofgovernment.
He also apologized for being late to the meeting and thankedthe media directors for attending.
