Dominican Republic’s most wanted could be in Florida

Santo Domingo.-  Despite the charge of being the main suspect of the Oct. 11 murder of attorney Yuniol Ramírez, and considered Dominican Republic’s most wanted fugitive, Argenis Contreras is still on the loose.

Immigration records of passengers departing Las Américas Airport, on October 12, presumably one day after the crime, Contreras boarded a flight to Miami.

Two weeks after the murder, three others named in the indictment unsealed by the Santo Domingo province Office the Prosecutor, are being held during one year of pre-trial detention: the former Metropolitan Bus Services Office (OMSA) director Manuel Rivas; its financial director, Faustino Rosario Díaz; and José Antonio Mercado (El Grande).
