Flash flood alerts for 22 provinces

Santo Domingo.- The Emergency Operations Center (COE) on Mon. said 22 provinces are still under alert for flash flooding as a result of the rains from a trough over the country.

The COE said the warning was issued after the National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts showers, moderate at times, with thunderstorms, mainly over the northeast, east, southeast, southwest and Central Mountains.

Onamet also forecasts seasonably mild temperatures continuing, especially in the mountains.
