Abinader hosts reception for world leaders at Ozama Fortress

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader hosted a reception at the Ozama Fortress on Thursday night, welcoming heads of state, government leaders, first ladies, and official delegations attending his inauguration. The event, which began at 8:00 p.m., saw the President accompanied by First Lady Raquel Arbaje, Vice President Raquel Peña, and his sister Rita Abinader.

Guests enjoyed a vibrant artistic performance featuring Dominican artists such as Miriam Cruz, Los Rosario, Eddy Herrera, Manny Cruz, and Covi Quintana.

Among the international guests were King Felipe VI of Spain; Presidents Santiago Peña Palacios of Paraguay, José Raúl Mulino Quintero of Panama, Bernardo Arévalo of Guatemala, Chandrikapersad Santokhi of Suriname, General Umaro Sissoco Embalo of Guinea Bissau, Mohamed Irfaan Ali of Guyana, Gustavo Petro Urrego of Colombia, and Luis Lacalle Pou of Uruguay. Also present were Rodney Williams, Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda; John Briceño, Prime Minister of Belize; and Félix Ulloa, Vice President of El Salvador.
