Dominican Congress honors Adriano Espaillat for his contributions

Washington, DC.- The Dominican Republic’s National Congress honored Congressman Adriano Espaillat on Wednesday for his distinguished career and significant contributions to the democratic system. Espaillat, a representative of New York’s 13th District in the U.S. House of Representatives, was recognized for his extensive service, including his role as president of the U.S. Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

The recognition was presented by Senate President Ricardo de los Santos and Chamber of Deputies President Alfredo Pacheco during a ceremony held in the U.S. Capitol, coinciding with the VII Meeting of Dominicans in the U.S. Capitol. This event aims to strengthen ties between the Dominican diaspora and the country’s authorities.
