President Abinader to address International Energy Conference in Guyana

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader will travel to Guyana this Monday to participate in the International Conference on Energy. Upon arrival, he will hold a bilateral meeting with Guyanese President Mohamed Irfaan Ali.

On Tuesday, Abinader will deliver a speech before the conference opening, inaugurate the event, and tour exhibition pavilions. He will also attend a luncheon hosted by President Ali. His visit will conclude with a stop at the newly inaugurated Dominican Embassy in Georgetown.

This marks Abinader’s second visit to Guyana, following the signing of bilateral agreements in energy, agriculture, infrastructure, and other sectors last year. He is accompanied by Minister of Energy and Mines Joel Santos, key advisors, and security officials.
