911 responds to landslide and truck fire in La Vega

La Vega.- The National Emergency and Security Response System 911 coordinated assistance following a landslide and a truck fire on Salvador Beato Street in the Los Pomos sector of La Vega. The incident occurred Tuesday morning, leaving two people seriously injured, who were transported to a nearby health center.

Emergency response included three ambulances from the Directorate of Extra-Hospital Emergency Services (DAEH) and the Ministry of Public Works. The La Vega Fire Department controlled the heavy smoke coming from the truck, while the National Police and Digesett managed security and traffic flow in the area.
