President Abinader Promotes Senior Military Officers

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader issued decree 129-25, promoting several Dominican Republic Army colonels to generals as part of efforts to strengthen the Armed Forces.

Among those promoted are Julio R. Max Solano Rojas, Juan A. Alcántara Cáceres, Raúl Esteban Mora Fernández, Juan Carlos Estrella Balbuena, and Francisco Cabral Valenzuela. Additionally, Francisco Dimas Avalo Núñez was elevated to brigadier general and appointed deputy commander general of the Army, replacing Brigadier General Fernando Arturo Pérez Jiménez.

The decree also promoted Pilot Colonels Héctor David Martínez Pérez and Jonás Reynoso Barrera to brigadier generals in the Air Force. According to an official statement, these promotions recognize the officers’ dedication and service to the nation.
