Easter: 12 minors intoxicated by alcoholic beverages

The Emergency Operations Center (COE) reported that 180 people were dangerously intoxicated by alcoholic beverages during this Holy Week, among which there are 12 minors during.

In its bulletin number 2, the COE detailed that those affected are between 7 and 17 years old. In addition, it was reported that different types of food poisoned 58 people.

In the bulletin, the COE indicated that 10 people have died in the last 24 hours of the holiday of the so-called Semana Mayor.

Nine of the deaths were due to traffic accidents, of which three occurred inside the security device and six outside it. Asphyxiation by immersion was also reported in an authorized spa.

The entity explained that 66 traffic accidents have been reported, in which 84 people were affected. Of these accidents, 59 involved motorcycles, four light vehicles, two jeeps, a bus and a pedestrian.
