Two dead, four injured in crash on Coral Highway

La Altagracia.- Two people were killed and four others injured in a traffic accident involving a bus and a van early Tuesday morning on the Coral Highway, near Batey Las Cejas in San Rafael del Yuma, La Altagracia province.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims or the specific circumstances of the crash. Emergency response was swift, with five ambulances from the Out-of-Hospital Emergency Services (DAEH), coordinated by 9-1-1, transporting the injured to nearby medical facilities.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Higüey Fire Department, the National Police, DIGESETT, and the Ministry of Public Works and Communications.
