Section of Fantino Falco with Lope de Vega.
This Sunday, July 6, Phase 1 of the new traffic management strategy, “RD se Mueve,” begins. Left turns will be restricted at three key intersections on Lope de Vega Avenue in the National District.
The Transportation Cabinet reminded the public that the intersections where restrictions will be applied are at the intersections of Lope de Vega Avenue, Padre Fantino Falco, Gustavo Mejía Ricart, and Max Henríquez Ureña.
The agency urged the public to cooperate by respecting road signs, using alternative routes, and participating in this transformation process to improve the quality of life for road users.
He explained that to facilitate mobility and maintain connectivity, he has previously evaluated alternate routes, which will be signposted and provided with technical and operational support so that citizens can learn which turns are permitted and which are prohibited.
Starting tomorrow, the phase includes alternative routes to Lope de Vega, where left turns are prohibited, to facilitate mobility and maintain connectivity, the Transportation Cabinet stated.
As an alternative route, we recommend accessing Padre Fantino Falco Street from the south of Lope de Vega, turning right onto Gustavo Mejía Ricart Street, proceeding to Siervas de María Street, and then entering Fantino Falco Street from the east.
Another available turn is at Gustavo Mejía Ricart, from north to south, where you turn right onto Fantino Falco Street and continue along Agustín de Lara Street until you merge onto Mejía Ricart Street. At Max Henríquez Ureña Street, take Lope de Vega, from south to north, to Gustavo Mejía Ricart Street, then turn right onto Manuel de Jesús Goico Castro Street and enter from the east.
