Dominican Police arrest british fugitive wanted for child kidnapping

Santo Dominican.- The Dominican National Police announced the arrest of British national Kevin Leon Wooden, 45, who is wanted by Mexican authorities for the kidnapping of a minor. He had been operating under multiple aliases, including Shaban Kuka and Miguel Antonio Torres Hernandez.

Wooden was captured in the capital city under an Interpol international warrant. Authorities also revealed that he has a criminal record for various offenses in the United Kingdom. During the operation, three children were rescued from a home linked to the case, though their connection to Wooden has not been confirmed.

Alongside Wooden, Mexican citizen Viviana Villarreal Cambero, 41, was also arrested at the scene. The case remains under investigation by international and local authorities.
