E-Libertad Foundation leads Dominican-Ecuador dialogue
Santo Domingo.- The E-Libertad Foundation, led by Orlando Jorge Villegas, organized a high-level meeting to foster dialogue between political, business, and communications leaders from the Dominican Republic and Ecuador, focusing on Latin America’s political, economic, and social landscape.
Key participants included Lucía Jaramillo, president of Ecuador’s National Assembly International Relations Commission; Gabriela Avendaño, digital advisor to President Daniel Noboa; and Ruddy de los Santos, president of GALA Media Group. The event aimed to connect emerging Dominican leaders with influential international figures, covering topics such as international cooperation and digital innovation.
Jaramillo highlighted the importance of youth engagement in political and decision-making spaces, while Avendaño shared insights on current trends and challenges in political communication. The meeting also brought together prominent business and media leaders, including José Miguel Bonetti (Grupo SID), Persio Maldonado (El Nuevo Diario), and executives from leading Dominican media outlets, fostering networking and knowledge exchange among key regional players.
