Expo Acero Santiago 2025 brings steel industry leaders

Santiago de los Caballeros.- The third edition of Expo Acero Santiago 2025 will open on Friday, September 5, at the UTESA Dominican Convention and Culture Center, with the opening ceremony led by Vice President Raquel Peña Nieto. The event will run until September 7 and feature 93 companies from 10 countries, attracting over 4,000 attendees, including professionals, technicians, students, businesspeople, and institutional representatives.

This year’s edition includes an exhibition of machinery and equipment, a business space for meetings, over 30 technical conferences and panels, including a session on the role of women in the sector, and networking activities for participants.

Colombia will be the guest country, with collaboration agreements established with the Steel Institutes of Mexico and Colombia to encourage knowledge and experience sharing among industry professionals. The fair will also recognize companies that have contributed since its beginning, including Steeltec, Acero Estrella, CIMET Constructores, TADUG, and INSTRUMET. Colombia will receive a special acknowledgment through its ambassador.

Expo Acero 2025 is sponsored by Metaldom as the main sponsor, with Carrujo, Steeltec, and Kinnox joining as Gold sponsors. Special accommodation rates have been arranged with the AC Marriott Santiago Hotel for exhibitors and visitors. The event is open to engineers, architects, builders, developers, students, suppliers, investors, and anyone interested in the technical and commercial aspects of the steel industry.
