Eddy Herrera celebrates sixth Latin Grammy nomination

Santo Domingo.- Merengue singer Eddy Herrera has received his sixth nomination at the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards. This time, he is nominated in the “Best Merengue/Bachata Album” category for his album Agradecido Live. Despite multiple nominations in the past, Herrera still feels immense excitement, sharing his joy with fans and colleagues.

His nominated album, Agradecido Live, is his 18th, featuring 20 tracks that highlight some of his greatest hits, under the musical direction of Antonio González. The album was recorded live during a performance at the Gran Teatro del Cibao in 2023. Herrera expressed pride in being nominated alongside fellow Dominicans Juan Luis Guerra, Magic Juan, and Prince Royce, as well as Puerto Rican artist Oscarito.

The 25th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards sees several Dominicans in the spotlight, including Herrera, who is thrilled to celebrate merengue and share the recognition with his peers.
