Roger Stone claims U.S. is investigating Dominican officials

Roger Stone, former adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump, claimed on Tuesday that multiple Dominican officials—and a former U.S. ambassador—are being investigated by the U.S. Department of Justice for alleged corruption. His statement was made through a post on his verified account on social media platform X.

According to Stone, an artificial intelligence program has identified these individuals in a probe into waste, fraud, and corruption. He specifically referred to a former U.S. ambassador who supposedly served during the Biden administration—though no ambassador was officially appointed to the Dominican Republic during that time.

Stone’s comments came shortly after the U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo publicly denied any affiliation with “María,” an AI platform developed by José Gómez Canaán. Stone had been a guest at the project’s presentation, where the platform was promoted as a tool to detect irregularities in public procurement. The embassy has firmly stated that the U.S. government was not involved in the initiative.

He is mud-slinging. It has no factual basis. His false referral of a US Ambassador who served under the Biden administration was corrupt give credence of ill intent. He tainted the Dominican Republic by insinuating Dominican officials were involved in the corruption. No names were mentioned.

He should look into his mirror see who is corrupt.
