Marileidy Paulino wins silver in 400m at Zurich Diamond League
Zurich.- Dominican sprinter Marileidy Paulino secured second place in the 400-meter final at the Wanda Diamond League in Zurich, reaffirming her status as one of the top athletes in international track and field.
The event was dominated by Bahraini runner Salwa Eid Naser, the 2019 world champion, who set a new meet record with a remarkable time of 48.70 seconds. Paulino followed closely, finishing in 49.23 seconds, just 0.53 seconds behind, earning the silver medal and further consolidating her elite standing.

Rounding out the podium, Norwegian Henriette Jæger clocked 49.49 seconds, breaking her country’s national record and highlighting the high level of competition at the meet.
