Punta Cana Carnival 2025 celebrates culture and sustainability
Punta Cana.- The sixteenth edition of the Punta Cana Carnival took place on February 22 at The Village Puntacana’s First of November Boulevard, bringing together hundreds of local and international visitors. Organized by the Puntacana Group, the event showcased a vibrant mix of music, culture, and art from national and international performers. The festivities kicked off with the coronation of King Momo, a title awarded to two-time Olympic gold medalist Félix Sánchez, who was honored for his contributions to Dominican sports. The celebration continued with a grand parade featuring 54 carnival groups and over 1,500 performers from various Dominican provinces, as well as Curacao and Colombia.
