Oasis of the Seas returns to Cabo Rojo

Pedernales.- The Dominican Port Authority (Apordom) announced that the Port of Cabo Rojo in Pedernales welcomed the Oasis of the Seas this Tuesday, July 15, marking another significant milestone for Dominican cruise tourism. The Royal Caribbean mega-ship, one of the largest in the world, arrived with more than 6,500 cruise passengers on board.

Apordom highlighted the growing appeal of the Dominican south, stating it continues to position itself as a premier destination for major international cruise lines.

This marks the ship’s second visit to Cabo Rojo, following its debut in April, when it arrived with 6,502 passengers and 2,126 crew members. The vessel measures 360 meters in length and has a gross tonnage of 226,838, underscoring the port’s capacity to handle world-class cruise traffic.
