Samaná to host Tourism and Attractions 2026 with China as guest of honor

Samaná.- The province of Samaná will host the third edition of the Tourism and Attractions 2026 fair from March 13 to 15 at Hacienda Samaná Bay, Hotel & Residences, with the People’s Republic of China as the guest of honor.

The event, organized by Kelvin Faña, will bring together more than 60 companies to promote investment, business opportunities, and the projection of Dominican tourism, reaffirming Samaná as a world-class destination. Attendees will enjoy conferences, personalized consulting, product presentations, tastings, and cultural activities. A major highlight will be the preparation of the world’s largest seafood asopao with coconut, alongside artistic performances, cigar and wine tastings, and adventure experiences.

Ambassador Chen Luning and a delegation of Chinese business leaders will attend to strengthen cooperation and open new investment opportunities. With an estimated 15,000 visitors, Tourism and Attractions 2026 aims to boost Samaná’s development and position the Dominican Republic more firmly in the global tourism market.
