Santo Domingo.- The Minister of Industry, Trade, and MSMEs, Víctor “Ito” Bisonó, is participating in the World Economic Forum (WEF), held from January 20 to 24 in Davos, Switzerland. The event gathers global leaders to address key issues such as sustainability, investment, and economic development.
Bisonó is scheduled to open the panel titled “Investing in Infrastructure: Strengthening Communities and Economies,” organized by DP World, on Tuesday. In his address, he will emphasize the Dominican Republic’s success in transforming its logistics infrastructure into a driver of economic growth and a vital link connecting global markets.
The panel will also explore the significance of transparency and regulatory frameworks in ensuring sustainable, long-term infrastructure investments, highlighting their role in fostering resilient communities and robust economies.
