Dominican Republic expresses solidarity with Sweden after school tragedy
Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), has expressed deep sorrow and solidarity with Sweden following a tragic school attack in Örebro that left at least 10 dead and several injured.
In an official statement, the Dominican government extended its condolences to the victims’ families and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. It also reaffirmed its firm stance against violence and its commitment to peace, security, and respect for life.
The authorities emphasized their continued communication with Sweden to offer support during this difficult time, underscoring the strong diplomatic ties between both nations.
