Dominican-German Chamber announces second edition of Dominican Week in Germany

Germany.- The Dominican-German Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism officially launched the second edition of Dominican Week in Germany during a press conference held at the Volkswagen showroom. The event will take place from June 2 to June 6, 2025, in Munich and Hamburg.

This initiative, now the most significant platform in Germany for promoting business, trade, and cooperation with the Dominican Republic, will feature a comprehensive program addressing key economic sectors such as exports, free trade zones, infrastructure, education, health, tourism, logistics, and bilateral partnerships.

Chamber President Karsten Paul Windeler emphasized the event’s role in deepening Dominican-German ties, with planned activities including a tour of the Transport Logistics trade fair, visits to major companies, a full day of business conferences, a Dominican Cultural Night, and a tour of Hamburg’s port.

The first Dominican Week in Berlin in 2023 was a major success, attracting high-level Dominican officials, business leaders, and diplomats from both nations.
