Just a reminder that Cabarete’s Sea Horse Ranch will hold its annual horse show this Saturday, June 8th, 2019 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. It will feature equestrian skills and jumper classes ranging from beginner to advanced riders.

With free admission and public viewing throughout the day, members of the public will be welcome to view all skill levels and types of riding.  In the afternoon they will hold jumping classes and exciting barrel racing competitions. There will be food and drink vendors; however, people may also bring their own. All are welcome and invited to come and be part of this special day.

Sea Horse Ranch manager and head trainer is Alexandre De Wazieres. Alexandre hails from France and has decades of experience managing stables and coaching jumping and polo. Also, trainer Thera MacKinnon, a Canadian dressage rider with years of experience teaching children and riding in a variety of disciplines will be on hand.

Alexandre and Thera, along with the staff at Sea Horse Ranch Equestrian Center, are looking forward to having their riders compete next Saturday, June 8th, 2019.

The Equestrian Center at Sea Horse Ranch is open to the public and offers organized tours on over 7 miles of bridle paths and beaches, as well as instruction in riding, dressage and jumping for advanced riders and novices alike. Their stable boards Paso Finos, Tennessee Walkers, quarter horses, and thoroughbreds as well as ponies for children.

Entry forms and fees information are available from the equestrian center office. Hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, and Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm.

In addition to the equestrian events, there will also be an art show featuring the paintings of Judith Fox-Hogg.
