More than half of readers nix Fernandez’s speech to Congress

Santo Domingo.- More than half of DT’s readers feel that president Leonel Fernandez’s speech to Congress on February 27 lacked substance, or didn’t even care about it.

When asked to “Rate the President’s speech to Congress,” 3,405, or 60.68% of the readers voted for the response “Speech? What speech?”

In second place was the response “Great, typical of a Statesman ,” with 2,011 votes, or 35.84%, followed by “It was a new low in his career,” with 129 votes, or 2.30% of those who took part in the weekly poll.

The response “So so, more figures were needed,” drew 66 votes, or 1.18% of the people who took part in the unscientific survey.
