Showers Wednesday, clearing Thursday

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office, Onamet, forecasts continuing showers for much of the country Wednesday, from an "active" tropical wave and the cloud bank over the territory in the last few days.

It said thunderstorms will accompany the rain, heavy at times, mostly in the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, Central Mountains and border area.

Onamet said the weather conditions will improve starting Thursday.
