Banco Atlántico successfully acquires savings and credit portfolio of Banco Activo

Santo Domingo.- Banco Atlántico de Ahorro y Crédito has successfully acquired the savings and credit portfolio of Banco Activo, as announced by Emilio Hasbún, the President of the Board of Directors of Banco Atlántico.

This transfer encompasses 88.1% of the credit portfolio, including the certificates of deposit held by Banco Activo’s clients. Hasbún clarified that Banco Atlántico has taken over responsibility for all active and passive accounts of Banco Activo since December 2023, following the authorization from the Monetary Board.
