Dominican Republic to host 22nd International Anti-Corruption Conference in 2026
Punta Cana.- The Dominican Republic has been chosen to host the 22nd International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) in Punta Cana from December 1 to 4, 2026, bringing together over 2,000 participants from more than 140 countries. Under the theme “Igniting the Power of Integrity,” the conference will provide a platform for exchanging ideas, experiences, and strategies to prevent and combat corruption globally.
President Luis Abinader highlighted the event as an opportunity to strengthen international cooperation and advance public policies on transparency and integrity. He emphasized that the conference will foster alliances and define strategies to promote integrity in politics, justice, business, and finance, both locally and internationally.
The IACC encourages participation from the public and private sectors, civil society, media, academia, and youth, promoting a broad dialogue on governance and accountability. The event builds on the global context of challenges in governance, law enforcement, and human rights, following the previous edition in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2024, which drew over 2,000 delegates from more than 140 countries.
