Arajet expands Santo Domingo–Costa Rica route
Santo Domingo.- Starting in December, Dominican airline Arajet will expand service on its route between Las Américas International Airport (AILA) in Santo Domingo and Juan Santamaría International Airport in San José, Costa Rica.
Currently operating two flights per week, the airline will increase to three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The route will continue to be served by Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft, with 180 seats in a single class, offering passengers greater comfort and efficiency. Flight DM4400 will depart Santo Domingo at 5:53 p.m., arriving in San José at 7:03 p.m., while return flight DM4401 will leave San José at 7:48 p.m. and land in Santo Domingo at 12:45 a.m. the next day.
Arajet is currently the only commercial carrier on this route, strengthening its market position while enhancing tourism and business connectivity between the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.
